Compassion Fatigue and Burnout Program

The cost of caring. Are you experiencing extreme tiredness or desperation? Are you physically, emotionally, and psychologically exhausted? If you are experiencing any of these conditions and you are in the business of serving others who are experiencing stress and trauma, you may be experiencing Compassion Fatigue. The term Compassion Fatigue, or secondary trauma, encompasses a more specific experience, which might be  brought about by a stressful workplace or environment, lack of resources or excessive hours. Compassion fatigue is linked to many careers and positions that regularly place you in stressful situations.  Compassion Fatigue impacts a wide range of caregivers and healthcare professionals.
